I have taught math for the past 10 years in Massachusetts elementary schools and tutored in the summer. In addition to teaching children, I have taught adult professional development classes in best practices in mathematics teaching. I am certified in elementary, middle school and moderate special education.

I earned an undergraduate degree from the George Washington University - Phi Beta Kappa and a Master’s degree from Northeastern University.

I love math and deeply understand the Common Core standards and how students best learn math. I also help parents better understand math models and encourage them to not share their math anxiety. I want to build children’s capacity in math and their self confidence.

Ben is a University of Miami graduate with a computer science major and math minor. He graduated with a 3.6 GPA. He knows C++, Java and Python. He has also tutored elementary mathematics.
